To celebrate the opening of Raw Dance's Project
X, Merrigong are running
dance workshops with the company's performers at
IPAC on Monday May 11.
Although he won't be making an appearance in Wollongong,
Raw Dance is
the company that launched the career of last year's
So You Think You Can
Dance winner Jack Chambers.
This is an excellent opportunity for your students

Ensemble Home From Malaysia
Pictured squinting into the
hot Malaysian sunshine are the 46 students and 8
staff who travelled to Kuala Lumpur during their
holidays. In an exhausting 8 days they played 8 shows
at three different International Schools in KL, and
participated in workshops with their hosts, Mont'
Kiara International School.
The group wowed the audiences
everywhere they went, with standing ovations at a
number of the 8 shows. They also managed some sight
seeing and culturally diverse activities during the
tour.
Matt Tarrant from Bulli HS proudly
represented the group, playing the Last
Post at
the Anzac Day Dawn Service In Kuala Lumpur organised
by the New Zealand High Commission
of Malaysia for
the joint Australia New Zealand forces.
All our Ensemblers were wonderful ambassadors
for their schools and our Region.
