This year we are looking for students who play one or more of the following instruments and can read music at least to a grade 2 level to form a large ‘Concert Band’

Strings, Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Baritone, Tuba, Keyboards, Bass Guitar and Drums are needed.

We will also be forming a ‘Rock Band’ which will consist of guitarists, drums and keyboards. Guitarists MUST be able to read music, either ‘tab’ or notes and know basic chords and progressions.

The 2010 Program begins with a 2 day 2 night residential camp at Stanwell Tops Conference Centre from Sunday 2 May to Tuesday 4 May. All students who wish to become members of this program must attend the camp.

The total cost of the program will be $170.

This will include the cost of the camp and subsequent rehearsal days and performances at selected schools (no more than 2 other days) and an end-of-year concert. It will also cover tuition from qualified music staff, a booklet of music for the year and a CD.

Nomination forms must be mailed to Mt Brown Primary School by Friday 23 April.
The Nomination form must be sent with a cheque or money order and needs to be made out to ‘Mt Brown Public School’ and sent to:
