1 June - New Stars Site
A change. The Southern Stars site has a new domain name and has a new look. That also means that it has a new address.

The rasouth site will remain much the same for a while but it will be changing too as the year goes on.
Everything Southern Stars after today will appear on the new site so please adjust your bookmarks.
12 May - Teachers Meeting
The Teachers Meeting for Southern Stars 2011 will take place on Wednesday 1st June, 2011 commencing at 4.30 pm at Shellharbour Workers Club.
There will be a brief overview of the show, an information session on the teachers package, organisation for show week, a group teachers photo for the program and then you will break into groups for choir and dance. It is a great opportunity to meet the with other teachers on your team and discuss plans for rehearsals. All rehearsal dates will be available in the Teachers Package this year for all groups.
At this meeting you will also receive the t shirt information, the showrun cd, the instructional dvd of both the finales - yes there are two for all involved!

After finalising the Southern Stars 2011 showrun we are currently looking for the following Featured Musicians.
Accordion player
Banjo player
Didgeridoo player
Students from Public Schools in the Illawarra and South East Region can apply. Click here for the Expression of Interest Form.

Hello and welcome to Southern Stars 2011
I am Suzi Williams, and am new to the Executive Producer's role of Southern Stars. 2011 is shaping up to be another wonderful show, full of energy and the extraordinary talents of both students and staff.
The 2011 show is "SHARE THE MOMENT" and the theme is all about sharing special moments in time and place with our audience, the spectacular finale allows our students' to share their own very special moment of being in the show, with their family and teachers |
There are six segments this year and the show is divided into:
- Share the STAGE
- Share the IDEAS
- Share the HISTORY
- Share the STORIES
- Share the WORLD
- Share OUR MOMENT
We all look forward to seeing our talented young people grow and develop as the show unfolds and the workshops begin.

Those successful at audition for the ISER Regional Performing Company 2011 should check the Company page to download the Welcome Package. It contains information and forms to be completed to bring to the Company Launch on 27th Feb.
